A 100% Brazilian company
We are one of the largest and most traditional textile companies dedicated to producing fabrics made of polyamide, polyester or blends of these yarns.
Founded in 1945 as Tecelagem Jacyra, the company has gone through decades of excellence and innovation in the textile industry. The company's current name comes from the surname of Mr. Roberto Macias, the current Owner-Partner, who over decades worked across several areas — Human Resources, Financial Administration and Sales — until taking on the role of General Director.
In early 2014 a unique opportunity arose: the acquisition of all the shares held by the former partners of Tecelagem Jacyra Ltda. From that moment on, the company became Tecelagem Macias Ltda., reflecting the new phase of ownership and management.
